Nature's Echo II

October 5th — Until further notice

Inwood Hill Nature Center

A contribution to the 2025-2026 Shared Dialogue, Shared Space (SDSS) program: a series of community-based artistic interventions in public space

Nature’s Echo II is a mural on a shipping container located on the peninsula of Inwood Hill Park, near the entrance of 218th Street on Indian Road. The concept for this artwork is the human impact on the environment, represented by a colorful abstract background with superimposed silhouettes of the animals. The artist engaged the community and youths by inviting residents, children, and students from Good Shepherd School to participate in the creation of the mural.
